I have just bought a new mac book pro 10.7.2 and i need to upgrade to cs5 from cs2. I have been running cs2 on my old lap top mac 10.4.11.

I bought the creative suite cs2 standard and I can't upgrade to cs5 on my old laptop because its too old now and I can't get cs2 to run on my new laptop as it comes up with no longer pc supported. What do I do?? there must be way to upgrade

          Hi,

Once you purchase a valid upgrade from CS 2 to CS 5, you can directly install the CS 5 upgrade software on your new Mac Book Pro.

When you install the upgrade, the installer will check for a previous qualifying version already installed on your computer. If it cannot detect one, it will ask you to input the serial number for your CS2 version to verify if it is a valid upgrade.

Once you input the serial number for CS 2, the installer will use that as a qualifying criteria and continue installation.

So as long as you have the CS 2 serial number, you should not have any problem installing the upgrade on your new Mac Book pro.

Please do verify the minimum system requirements for the product you are upgrading to before you make the purchase.

          Thanks

              Hi,

Could you please provide the exact name of the CS 2 product so that I can verify if you can upgrade to the latest version of Photoshop?

Is it a Suite? (like CS 2 master collection, Design premium, Web Premium, Production Premium).

Or is it a single product?

              Thanks
