Object States overlapping

Hi everyone,

I need some tips or advise on how best to accomplish what I need. I have a series of buttons on the bottom of my page which have a photo, what I want the user to be able to do is tap on each different photo to display the photo bigger with some text on the left side, I can get this done but my issue is the text from the different photos overlap each other making it hard to read, how do I get my object states to close once a different picture is selected.
