I recently created a new admin account on a Windows XP machine. Periodically when opening a PDF, Reader will stop responding. The associated acroRd32.exe process cannot be killed by task manager.
This seems to happen completely at random. Upon rebooting, opening the same PDF file that caused the lock up works just fine.
I have already tried updating the latest version of Reader X. I'm not aware of any changes to windows other than the new user account.
