What model of camcorder did the video come from and what format is it?
If it did not come from a camcorder, the video may not be editable in the program. But open the video in a program like G Spot and see what the specs are for the video's frame rate, resolution and, above all, it's codec.
Some video formats and codecs aren't editable, even if you have the codec on your machine.
thank you for the prompt reply, pleas hold on am going to get details am coming,,,
it came from a sumsung camcoder but i can not remember the model. it is an MP4 format.
Knowing the CODEC used by the Samsung, will very likely explain why you having this issue. It is all important.
In the meantime, do you have the latest version of Apple's QT Player installed? For H.264/MP4 material, you will want that, as it will install the latest H.264 CODEC on your system.
