Cannot Run Flash Application by Supplying URL

    Dennis Atkinson

      Greetings all.

I am in the process of building a Flash application, and it will eventually be deployed to a web server, but for now it just runs locally in my FB4 environment.  When I press the Eclipse "Run" button, it runs fine.  When I capture the URL in the browser, and just try to run that, the application starts, but the server never receives a data request and I get this error message on the server:

      "Error: Client.Error.MessageSend - Channel.Connect.Failed error NetConnection.Call.Failed: HTTP: Failed: url: 'http://localhost:8080/GNCStats/messagebroker/amf' - Send failed"

This happens if I try to use the URL for the first time, after starting the computer.  If I start the system via the Eclipse "Run" button, it runs fine and after that, I can restart via the URL and have no problem.

So I am assuming there is some kind of BlazeDS configuration I need to do?  Could anyone shed some light on this?

      Thanks,

      Dennis
