    hiden text - printing

    quiero mas Level 1
      Hi
      When a user prints a page i want some text to appear only on the printed page. Not in the browser.
      Is this possible?
      I have been given a good link to 'gotopront' but cant seem to find the relevant section.

      Any help most appreciated

          Put the text into a container with a display:none. In your print
          stylesheet, make that container display:block.

            Put your text in a <div> 'container' on your page.

            In your screen css hide the 'container' that the text is in so it wont
            appear in the browser.

            So for instance if the text that you dont want to appear in the browser
            is in a 'container' with an id of #someText use this css:

            #someText {
            display: none;
            }

            In your print stylesheet make this 'conatiner' appear by using 'display:
            block;'

            #someText {
            display: block;
            }

            Will that work? I have absolutely no idea but it sounds feasable to me.
            Give it a shot and see what the results are.
