Hello, I am working with a graphic designer who has placed vector/eps graphics into an InDesign document. When I view the document, black borders display on the edges of the eps's. Any insight into what I am doing wrong and how to get rid of these black boxes? They appear when I burn a PDF as well. Thanks so much.
The graphic's frame has a black stroke. Set the frame stroke to 0, color - None.
Thanks for the answer but that's not the issue. I am using version 2 and she is using the latest version. When I send the file back to her and she burns the PDF everything is fine. But I cannot burn the PDF or remove the black boxes around her photoshop eps files.
Why are you using EPS? It's a troublesome, archaic format with limited use in a modern workflow.
Further you've given us no real details on what's going on here.
Version of InDesign, EPS creation, how are you viewing things? How are you creating the PDF? Mac? Windows? What are you using to view the PDF and finally...what does burn a PDF mean?
