I've become pretty good with grep styles and nested styles for automating text formatting but I'm trying to accomplish something that I'm not even sure is possible:
Can I apply different formats to a number depending on its actual value?
For example: 1-9 green, 10-19 yellow, 20+ red
I can't seem to find any triggers in grep that aren't actual string matches, and since the numbers I'm dealing with are decimals there's no way I'm defining separate grep rules for 1.00, 1.01, 1.02 etc
If anyone knows of a good way to get this done I'd really appreciate it.
An interesting exercise! You are correct, it's not possible to differentiate between numerical values and all you have to go on are characters.
The latter one is duplicated so it works for both 2 digits 20..99 and for three and upwards (in the millions).
This looks good! Thanks so much!
I'll spend awhile digesting this, gotta get my grep vocabulary up.
Thanks for the quick response!
