Windows error 193 during install

After LaunchAnywhere finishes preparing to install I get an error headed LaunchAnywhere Error which says "Windows error 193 occured while loading the Java VM". I have verified the size of the downloaded CF file and all seems correct. I also seem to have the latest JAVA version installed. Any suggestions on what I should try next?
Running on Win XP Home SP 2 on an AMD 64 Athlon X2
Thanks

Just an extra piece of info: I was trying to install CF 801 for 64 bit systems.

No answers so far.

I assume others have managed to install CF 801?

I just upgraded to 801 yesterday, is that the same? Or are you talking
about a clean, new install of 801.

Anyway I experienced no errors, problems or difficulties at all.
Answered the questions, clicked the buttons, and viola upgraded
ColdFusion server.

It was a completely new, clean install - I'd not installed any previous version of ColdFusion on this PC ever.

Maybe I should find an old CF version to see if I can install that, then upgrade to 801!

Please try checking to ensure the following:

- you have sufficient drive space for the install of CF and Java VM
- you have downloaded the proper installer (ie. installing 64 bit windows version on 32 bit XP Pro will fail).

I had the same problem - I know it sounds obvious but the first place I checked was the installer icon properties which claimed the instal had been blocked - there was an option to unblock and I tried the instal again, more success the LaunchAnywhere process seemed to complete %100 - then the box reopened "Wndows Error 193 occured while loading the Java VM" I also run a 64bit compatibility and latest Java check - no problems. I'm sure I have enough diskspace. The CF is the 801 btw.
