    Repousse

    edrakel Community Member

I have Photoshop cs5.5. I have used this tool ( Repousse) in the past without any problem.

Recently, it decided not to work. When I try using it I get the following window:

"Your 3D scene now excedes the limits of lights and/or textrures for the video card's hardware-accelerator rendering.

As long as the limits are exceeded, 3D rendering will be done in software only and some features (eg Repousse) will be disabled."

I have the following specs: Intel i7  950 quadcore processor--16 GB of ram---Nvidia GTX 285 graphics card with the Mercury engine enabeled

As I mentioned above, its worked before until recently. Please help

Is the shape you are editing more complex than previous material?

Have you tried changing the Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > OpenGL > Advanced Settings?

Have you updated your graphics driver? Changed your screen settings? If so, undo the changes...

Dear Sir, Thank you. Went into advance settings and set the mode to advance and it started

working. Since I never adusted those settings in the past, I'm not sure why all of a sudden

it stopped working. Really didn't want to 3D my text in A.E. if you no what I mean. Thanks again--Ed
