How to export Indesign5.5 to epub? or ipad exactly? can any one help?

      Dear All,

We have created our magazine layouts in indesign CS 5.5 document. The document contains contents, tabular columns, images and videos, etc. We tried to make it as EPUB version through indesign export option. But we are not getting the exact page layout what we designed in indesign. While exporting from indesign, the EPUB file takes it own style i.e all takes paragraphs only. Anyone can suggest the method to get the real style of the page layout by using the export option.

      Regards

The ePub document model is far more simpler than that of InDesign. It's impossible to get the very same page layout, if only because you can change font, page size, and text size dynamically. An ePub is just a HTML document, with all of the inherited flaws.

You can try if Fixed Layout ePub comes close -- search for Liz Castro's article on that -- and if not, you can always use Adobe's DPS, which specifically targets iPads (but you can't 'export' your document as it is, you'll need to redesign it).
