    True Type Fonts

    abssiddiq Level 1

      Hi Guys,

I am working on Printer Ready PDFs.

In my Pitstop Report Some of the Font shows as True Type.

My Question is whether I can use these fonts for Printer File.

      Thanks

      Siddiq

If they are embedded subset or subset, than Yes

There is no go reason why a properly designed and prepared TrueType font would be a problem for printing.

Note that there are some what I can best describe as highly uneducated printers who cling to urban legends surrounding TrueType versus Type 1 fonts, but on behalf of Adobe Systems, let me assure you that any PostScript or PDF printer, RIP, or processor that is compliant with the specifications of PostScript or PDF should have no problems with TrueType fonts.
