Bill Gehrke Dec 27, 2011 7:54 PM (in response to Darren Kelly)I guess you are probably referring to the Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle and not the Blackmagic Hyperdeck Shuttle, is that correct?

Darren Kelly Dec 28, 2011 6:17 AM (in response to Bill Gehrke)Yes, I am refering to the decklink Intensity Shuttle.
It works well if you have the right hardware, but not so well without.

ECBowen Dec 28, 2011 9:17 AM (in response to Darren Kelly)I found out recently that the Asmedia USB3 controller does not work for the Shuttles. Evidently there is no way to disable the throttling for the controller so the Preview drops frames. The Renesas gives you an option with the correct firmware to disable the power management.

4. Re: Avoid the Decklink Shuttle unless....
Darren Kelly Dec 28, 2011 10:01 AM (in response to ECBowen)It works well on an Intel machine with an X58 chipset, and on an AMD MB with the 880G chipset. The USB3 controller that has the Renseas USB3 chipset is also required.
It is officially up for sale at $165.00.
If you don't have the right USB3 card, I can include that for an additional $25.
Shipping additional, Paypal please
Thanks
