I am very new to indesign. In fact i am using an indesign for dummies book that I got the beginning of the month. I have an older version; CS2. I have very little computer knowledge and this has been very challenging for me, however, I have managed to create several pages that were originally to be in color and now need to be in black and white. What method can I use to convert everything to greyscale? They just don't tell you how to do that in the dummy book.
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it (oh, and the reply needs to be dumbed down as much as possible!)
Thank you for you help in advance,
Rebecca Pentecost, DVM
When printing, you can go into your printer's properties and specify black and white printing.
When you say the pages now need to be in Black and White, what is the reason? What will the final output be?
As Silkrooster says, you can can print to Composite Grayscale, but the results may not be as good as you would achieve by converting color images to grayscale (or bitmap mode for line art), so it would help to understand the entire workflow here.
And what is your computer Operating System?
