You'll get the quickest help if you did a search in these forums for this issue. Its a frequently asked question...
You've probably not taken a good look at the output module settings. The default is to render lossless (a production not a delivery codec) with no audio. Learn about rendering and output by reading the FAQ or the help files.
I finally figure out what the ram viewing does. YAY!
@ Jack: Really! You said do a search and that its a common question . .
.well . . . then what was the common answer? Or how about a link? OMG
LMAO!!! Cant you see I even posted what I found!
(Dont get offended now by my post anyone . . .just being dynamic here)
@ Rick: I thought I checked off the sound output next to Audio Output. No,
wait . . .I know I did. Do you think that after trying now for two days I
might have somehow "made Movie" before checking off sound and there after
been trying to make movie with a file that was saved with now sound? I
have done so much on this that I dont know if I'll Remember my steps. Also,
You mentioned FAQ. I found
suggested except for the output template. So where have I gone wrong? I
noticed there are about 20 FAQ (
there more sources for questions I might have? I dont
want another Jack to say " do a search". Duh!!! <End Sarcasm
If you can ram preview with audio and you setup the output module with audio enabled AE will give you sound. If you haven't deleted items from the render cue spin down the output module settings to check. As you can see here, the default setting is audio off. The edited setting changes the compressor to Photo Jpeg and turns audio on.
