Just did! Ridiculous oversight on Adobe's part. Not even Audition can do it!! Weak.
Feature Request is the way to go here.
There are several recent 16-channel Export threads on the forum, so it seems to be something that many want.
Can anyone explain how to "Export to tape" using 'Insert' feature (for example) channel 6 and 8 of IMX or HDCAM SR deck?
Premiere has possibility to edit 16-channel audio masters but do not have possibility to save or export the result.
You can in CS6.
Premiere CS6 has only 8 channles of audio in 'Export to tape' option.
What if I need to 'Insert' only "channel 10" on master cassette? What was the idea of 16-channel master timeline with only 8-channel export? Also, I wonder, why the developers did 16-channel QT output but did not make the same for AVI?
