    Linked object positions across pages

      Hello all,

I was wondering if there was an easy way or hack to manage (change one and they all change) an 1) objects positioning across pages and/or frames, while still allowing the 2) contents within the objects (ie, textfields) to be different.

Point 1) is accomplished by sharing layers across frames or pages. However, I don't see a way to keep the contents within those objects seperate. Does this make sense? It seems like I want containers positioning to be shared, but not the containers content.

      thanks,

      nick

CSS is the perfect way to do that, yes.

            thanks for the reply murray

I am creating strictly software or hardware interfaces in fireworks, not web-pages. Is there another way?
