Hi i am trying to make a video, with some green screen footage of a person, and then simply add moving background effects into it. Like the effects in this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOLDBhTr4sM

Can i simply add video animations like this : http://movietools.info/video-background-loops/energy-loop/item/loop-147-green-waves in behind the footage that i shoot?

It sounds so simple so sorry i am a beginner

Yes you can, find tutorials on how to rotoscope and/or key out a person. once you have done that you simply place your footage you want under the layer you have keyed out. it should work just that easy. rotoscoping tuts will teach you how to put the background in as well. (youtube it)

          Hope this helps

In the top right corner of After Effects you'll see a little search box.

Type green screen tutorials in the box and press enter. You should get This Page. It's a good place to start.

If the page doesn't load when you press search let us know and we'll show you how to fix the preference setting that's keeping you search confined to your local machine.
