1. Re: Finding Fireworks PNG files (without the other PNG images files)
Linda Nicholls Jan 4, 2012 10:13 PM (in response to LeslieInV)You can go by the file size. An edtable PNG should have a much larger file size than an exported one.

2. Re: Finding Fireworks PNG files (without the other PNG images files)
LeslieInV Jan 5, 2012 5:15 AM (in response to Linda Nicholls)That's a good technique, but I'm finding a lot of very large, randomly named files, like xasadfjajoiaej.png, that I know can't be what I'm looking for.
Could there be any other ways to isloate Fireworks PNGs from all other PNGs?

Wayne.Fox Jan 6, 2012 11:18 AM (in response to LeslieInV)search with bridge and use it's filter features!. and for future refrence i'd sugest using .FW in file name like say "mayFileName.FW.png", i've found this helps a lot and do it all time since i had similar problem lol

4. Re: Finding Fireworks PNG files (without the other PNG images files)
LeslieInV Jan 6, 2012 2:41 PM (in response to Wayne.Fox)Thank you Wayne, that's a great idea. I saw in Essentials mode that Bridge would tell me that a file was created with an Application = Fireworks, but in Filmstip or Metadata mode where I can apply filters, I didn't see an Application filter, closest choice was filetype=PNG. Have I missed something, can I add a new application type filter to Bridge CS5?
