1. Re: Currently on Production Premium CS4, trialling Photoshop CS5, Bridge CS4 disappears....
Curt Y Jan 5, 2012 8:07 AM (in response to Jez(UK))Don't believe you can run both Bridge CS4 and CS5 at the same time (same with photoshop). Also, Bridge CS5 can not read the cache for Bridge CS4. It has to build its own.
If you have CS5 Bridge to autoload on startup (factory default) it will run in the background so you can not run CS4. To disable this feature it is in advanced preferences.

2. Re: Currently on Production Premium CS4, trialling Photoshop CS5, Bridge CS4 disappears....
Jez(UK) Jan 5, 2012 8:38 AM (in response to Curt Y)Thanks Curt, that's really helped and saved me time. By disabling the feature you mention and exiting Bridge CS5, when I go to Photoshop CS4 and invoke Bridge, I do indeed get Bridge CS4 starting and not CS5.
Where I was 'going wrong' was keeping Bridge CS5 running minimized in my system tray which is why even Photoshop CS4 would open it up when invoked from within Photoshop.
Kind regards,
Jez
