When I grab the corners of a box to bring it in, the image stays there behind the area that I'm dragging in. Basically like a live preview. Slows stuff down horribly. And this is on a Dual 4 core Mac Pro with 8 gigs of ram. I'd like to turn that "feature" off so when I drag the sides of a box in around an image, the image will not keep live drawing in the area that I've brought in.
Also, dragging images around. It's all live. When I grab an image and move it I want the image to stay where it's at and just the box moves with my cursor so it's not so damn laggy. In CS3 that we just upgraded from thats the way it worked... if you want a live draw, you held down shift or something when you moved stuff around.
This is a preference item. Set Live Screen Drawing to Delayed (default is immediate) and you will get the old behavior.
Sweet. Thank you! Much faster now. Live draw works great with some stuff but some things just lag like crazy
