1. Re: Quadro 600 support for Premiere & Mercury Playback Engine (MPE)

Azonic3D Jan 6, 2012 7:00 AM (in response to JSS1138)Thanks for the quick reply. Like I said, I realize performance-wise it won't be that great. I personally run a Quadro 4000 and am pretty satisfied. I'm trying to spec out machines and simply wondering if it will "work". Are you saying that it won't unless you use some type of hack?

3. Re: Quadro 600 support for Premiere & Mercury Playback Engine (MPE)
JSS1138 Jan 6, 2012 8:11 PM (in response to Azonic3D)Any graphics card will "work" with Premiere Pro. However, if it's not on the approved list, then you won't get "hardware acceleration" with the card unless you modify a file. (And even then the card itself needs a minimum of specs to offer the acceleration.)
Honestly, if you haven't bought one yet, I'd suggest moving on to a GTX model with at least 1GB or GDDR5 memory.
