    Video time marker

    rninrvr

I have just upgraded from Elements 9 to version 10 and just edited my first video with Premiere. When I would do this in version 9 as the video played the time bar pointer would move along with the video so you know where you are, but with 10 it is not doing that. Is there some setting that I am missing here to get that pointer to follow the video as it plays?

If you're talking about the CTI (Current Time Indicator) moving along the timeline as your video plays, this function should be identical in all versions of the program, assuming you've got enough processor power and RAM to support it. (It might also help to go to Edit/Preferences/General and set the playback to Page Scroll rather than Smooth Scroll).

It was already set that way, and went I went into the project now the time bar is scrolling properly. Who know what was happening with this since the is a new install. My computer is an HP i7 with 8 gigs of RAM.
