I have InDesign 5.0 and was provided a one page template that was created in 4.0. The original template creator (not me) included section numbers and the company logo on the top of the page plus page numbers at the bottom. Several folks on this forum provided help on unlocking these items, "hold CTRL+SHIFT keys (override master pages). Also, OBJECT, Unlock All on Spread. This worked on the bottom page numbering and I'm able to change those. However, I can unlock the logo and section numbers at the top of the page but can't change anything. I also can't determine the font style, size, etc. Any idea how I can change those items?
Perhaps they are no longer type, but have been converted to outlines.
You really should post a screen capture of this area of the page with the objects selected.
I'm very new at this and don't know how to capture the section header on the InDesign page. Duh!
Zoom in on that area, the use whatever you would normally use to do a creen capture (I'm on PC and I use the Print Screen button on the keyboard to put the screen on the clipboard, then paste in a new doc in Photoshop). Once you have the image, embed it in a post using the camera icon onthe forum page like this:
