Large format - setting a bleed of 50mm

      Hi,

I am setting up a large wall at half size. The printer whould like the bleed of 100mm. But when I try to create a document size with 50mm bleed illustrator wont let me. The maximum I can make is 25mm. How do I get round this? (I would prefer to keep the scale 1:2).

      Thanks

You could increase the size of your artboard 200mm and include no bleed, adding crop marks an a separate layer to show the final size. Or place your file in Indesign, where you can include 100mm (or more) of bleed and export to PDF. I would talk directly to your printer, it sounds like they want extra image for folding, stitching and grommets, if they are printing on fabric. They might be OK with 50mm (2 inches) of bleed.
