I have tried to edit my films taken with a Flip Mino HD camera. The films show OK in the organizer but in the editor I can only hear the sound but the film does not show at all. Since I live in Sweden I choose PAL and there is no Flip-format choice in the menu as there is under the NTSC alternative.
The message I get when adding clips to the editor says: " The format of the clips you are adding do not match the project setting format. For best results you should use a project preset that matches your clips. Do you want to change the project settings to match your clips?"
I answer Yes but it does not fix the problem.
So, I wonder how I can find out what exactly is the difference in the settings between the clips and the project preset and what settings I should use?
I don't believe Flip cams don't shoot in PAL format -- or NTSC for that matter. They shoot in Flip format.
So use the NTSC Flip minoHD project settings for your project.
