I am a seasoned IDD user who uses the software professionally, and just migrated from an older Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard to a brand new one running 10.7.2 Lion. Migration went fine but a few glitches remain. One nagging me is that when I open any file built on the old machine but in CS 5.5, I get a warning that hyphenation will be glitched because "Proximity Services is not installed." I know this is some sort of dictionary, but for the life of me cannot find how to re-install this anywhere. Certainly can use the software, and any new docs do not produce the error. Only old docs using the "proximity" dictionary.
Anyone have a clue?
Try running the installer and do a "repair" installation. Migration of applications, rather than actually installing them, is a crapshoot.
Migration is no way to install professional level software. It should be installed using the original media.
Peter and Bob: Both are correct...I re-installed and I believe the issue has been solved. Thanks.
