    Detecting Windows version before install

    scadarn

Hi I work at a local college and would like to run a .bat file preferably to

1st detect the version of windows x32 x64,

2nd check if the pc already has the following version to either abort or continue,

      3rd install the corresponding file,

Also must be a silent install.

I have both .msi and .exe installers for both versions.

      Any help would be appreciated

Here’s what i have so far (pretty basic)

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      cd "File Location"

      install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.exe –install

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
