You should probably ask about this in the InDesign Scripting forum. You can do a text replace on the content of a .idml or .inx file to change the link out side of ID, but without scripting this would be harder than just relinking.
Lazy as i am i dont want to link them induvidualy
I want to replace foto A for foto B in 75 different documents
So a Map containes 75 different sizes with a photo imported and i want to change the photo without linking it by hand
Cant use the same filename because i have to send it to the printer and else i get 100 photos with the same name and that is not a good idea >>> things go wrong that way (i have app 3500 posters and 350 photos on this moment to sent to different printers etc
I know i have the same question in scripting forum but i wasn't sure maby there is a trick in Indesign
