My Google-Fu skills seem to be lacking as I can't find a difinitive answer to the following:
Do Android based devices (I specifically have the Samsung Tab 10.1) support publishing H.264 video streams?
I would think that flash should be able to take advantage of the hardware H.264 encoders that are built into these devices but it doesn't seem like this is actually the case. On a PC I would attach the H264VideoStreamSettings to the publishing NetStream. If I do the same on the android device and publish the stream is always the Sorenson (Spark) codec and not H.264. If I try to call the setFrameInterval on the H264VideoStreamSettings on android I receive an exception.
Same problem here. On Android Netstream.videoStreamSettings is always null.
There is no documentation concerning H264 streaming on Android. So what's the deal?
