I have an InDesign CS5 file, 5 pages long. The same artwork is on every page with some small text changes on each page. When I print the file, the main headline disappears from all the pages except the first page. It prints a ghostly image of the text only. I have 2 other files set up exactly the same way but they don't seem to be experiencing the same issue.
What's hapening here, and can it be fixed?
In cases where a problem seems to be isolated to a particular file it is often due to some sort of minor file corruption, and can sometimes be corrected by exporting the file. See Remove minor corruption by exporting
Yes, you're right. I think the file was corrupted. I duplicated and renamed the file which seemed to fix it. I think exporting might probably do the same thing so I will try that next time. Thanks!
