I have created a soccer ball obj in maya and I have imported it to after effects. I have applied trapcode form to my solid. When I change the object settings and the baseform to obj. My object only appears to have about 50 particles even though I have it set to 600 on each axis. Im not sure why. I have fiddled with a few settings but cant seem to increase the particle count for my object.
It uses the vertices of the imported OBJ file and distributes all your particles to those points. If you need more to be visible, subdivde the geometry in Maya.
