    A simple hitTest, turned evil..

      Hi, I'm currently making a adventure game, although with my code, It involves a high amount of hitTests, And I was thinking of having loads of different attacks/moves, one being the screen fills with water, drowning all enemies on the screen, although, the character has a hitTest against the terrain/"ground", so when the screen does fill with water, the character is literally flung all over the place, In a random direction.

      So I was wondering, Is there a code so that a child movieclip cannot affect the main movieclip's hitTest's.
