    Premiere Pro CS5 and Photos

    Rob G!

      Hello all,

      I'm creating a slide show.  After loading all of my photos I notice small black lines that run vertically on the left and right sides of the photo.  I can scale the pictures up and takes care of the problem.  However I'm  dealing with hundreds of photos.  Even a copy and paste of the scale settings takes a bit of time.

      Any other ideas on how to get rid of the black lines?

      The photos are at 640 x 480 and my Premiere Pro defaults are at "Set to frame size"

      Thanks

      PS - Is there a way to do a "select all" universal scaling?

      Rob

          While there are other ways, following is one way (using a PC):

          1. If all the pictures are the same size, put one on the timeline, resize it as required.

          2. Put the rest of the pictures on the time lineline after the resized picture.

          3. Select the first picture in the timeline, right click and copy (copying attributes);

          4. Select the rest of the pictures on the timeline, right click and "paste attributes".

          All pictures should now be resized the same as the first picture.

          Another way: Batch correct the sizing of your pictures in Photoshop if you have it. Use the NTSC DV preset..
