The Flex 3.6 code below should load a swf and make its width 100% and height 100 pixels. It doesn't. Why not?
It seems to pick an arbitrary width. I can't figure out what it's using.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute">
Am I just missing something simple here? I'm trying to have a swf stretch to the full width of the browser. Don't want it to maintain aspect ratio. Can someone please try the simple code above and make a suggestion?
If you want the image to stretch then set scaleContent=true
Yes, proper settings would scaleContent=true and maintainAspectRatio=false
