I have a layed Photoshop file with text that needs to be converted to shape layers before I send overseas. Most layers have a short amount of text and convert fine. One text layer is quite lenghthy and as soon as I convert to a Shape Layer the palette becomes mostly blank. I undo in the history one step then everything is fine.
I've turned the palette on and off. Deleted it then readded. Reset Photoshop preference and nothing stops this from happening.
I'm using version 12.0.4 on an iMac 2.93 GHz i7 running 10.6.8.

Might be helpful if you'd list more info about the font. Is this font unique, or in use in a lot of places in your documents? My thoughts tend toward it just being a bad font, though I can't say I've ever seen one do just what you're showing...
Myraid Pro Regular and Bold. 15 words have All Caps styling.
For this particular client this Myraid Pro is their corporate font. It's what was used in the other layers as well. I have 12 other graphics for this same trade show and out of all the conversions, this is the only that has given me issue. I think as work around I'll set the text in Illustrator and copy it in has a shape layer but since I convert these to shape layers on a very regular basis I was confused as to what the issue could be.
