Which disc did you try to install? The box contains 5 installation discs.
You want to install Premiere Elements from the same disc that you installed Photo Elements from. The second disc includes installation files for Windows 7 64-bit only.
Thanks for your prompt response. Sorry I probably should of mentioned this earlier but it is an OEM bundle, it only has 2 disks. One is for MAc the other is for Windows
For such an installation issue, I would immediately contact Adobe T/S, as installation issues are free.
Good luck, and welcome to the forum,
It's also quite possible you were provided with the incorrect discs.
Try downloading the trial from the Adobe web site and using the serial number you got with your software to activate it.
That is a good idea, and may well be of help to the OP.oo
I also wonder which version of PrE was on the OEM disc.?
Good luck to the OP,
It may have been the Limited Edition version -- in which case he won't be able to use the serial number with the download.
He'll need to work with his computer manufacturer to find out why the software that came with the computer doesn't work with it.
This software came with hardware that was other than a PC. Therefore they cant really help me, however i'm trying to download the trial version but my internet connection is less reliable than a plumbers estimate. It may take sometime, if that fails ill have to call T/S, i have a UK based number to call if the trial fails to work. Thank you all for your suggestions so far
Well after the 3 hour dowload i was able to use my product key on the free trial to get the full version. Thanks to all who helped. I have left feedback as necessary...
Wonderful news, Chris! Enjoy!
