Hey guys, I am posting two pictures here. The first one is a look at the problem I am having. In my HDTV 1920x1080 comp I have an orange solid that doesn't have such defined edges. As you can see from this image, the edge is very blurred. No matter what resolution comp I through it in or how zoomed in or out on the canvas I'm getting this blurred edge. There are no effects on this solid except for the fact that it is a 3D solid as I'm moving the camera about it.
Strangely, I have another solid, a gray one that seems perfectly fine. Since it is on top of the orange layer, both together are giving me the defined edge I need. Any ideas?
Make sure your solids are placed at full pixel values so they don't cause sub-pixel sampling. Also check motion blur and layer quality switches. Likewise, verify that this is not just a preview glitch due to OpenGL usage or viewing the comp at odd zoom levels/ resolutions.
Oops. I didn't have the Continuously Rasterize switch on. Yeesh!
Thank you however, your answer led me in the right direction!
