So when you a filling our an application online, there are certain fields that you are required to fill in before you can submit them.
Is there a way to do something similar with an Adobe form? In other words, is there a way that you can make someone check a box or fill in a field in a form on an Adobe form before they are allowed to print/save/email the form?
Any advice on this matter would be very helpful.
You indeed can't prevent the user from saving or printing a file when the required fields are not filled-in, but if you use this script (created by me) you can force the saved/printed file not to contain any data in the form fields (ie all text fields will be blank, radio buttons and check-boxes not ticked, etc.):
