Selling and Transferring License For CS5

    JohnD5633 Level 1

Hi. I am going to begin using Elements 10 instead of CS5 as my primary editor as it does everything I need. For that reason I am thinking about selling my copy of CS5. I upraded to CS5 from CS4 and am the registered user for both. Can I sell them separately or do I have to sell both at once since the CS5 was an upgrade from CS4? Thanks.

          Correct.

Only when you have a full version (paid full price) of both CS4 and CS5 can you sell both separately.

Upgrades upgrade your existing license, so you only have one license (which permits two activations with Adobe) to sell.

Since you have registered the serial number(s) with Adobe, you, as the owner, should also initiate a Transfer of Ownership so that the new owner can register the serial number in their name

          Transfer an Adobe product license
