Placing Photoshop Layer Into In Design Enigma

    MarcBonilla

I have particular Photoshop object layer that I want to place into In Design, but even though I only have that particular object selected (which is currently floating over a transparancy), it always brings in a white background into the In Design page masking out what's underneath it...I've tried dragging, inverse-selecting...everything I can think of, but it keeps importing this white field with it.  The strange thing is that if I drag the same selcted design to another Photoshop canvas, it does what it's supposed to:  Just import the design and not the white field...but not so in In Design.  How do I circumnavigate this?

      I'm using Photoshop 7.0 and InDesign CS3
