Is there a way to specify what encoding VLT uses when it writes out files? I'm working with a third party, and the process they've defined is that we develop and test components, templates, etc in our environment, then use VLT to export them to the file system, then use SVN to commit to their repository, so SVN is the delivery mechanism. We've had some issues where components we've set up to use UTF-8 encoding work in our environment, but when they are exported to the file system, they lose the encoding.
Which version of vlt you using ? Did you try setting svn:eol-style=native
I believe it's 2.2.22. I have set svn:eol-style=native, but that's really more about line endings than byte-encodings, and it also doesn't apply to new files.
