So here is what is going on. I have an animation rendered out as an image sequence. To save rendering time, I cut pauses out of the animation. Now...in post production I am using time remapping to add those pauses back in.
I hear that parts of the image sequence are going to change and I will need to re-render the whole thing. The length of the image sequence should stay the same. Is there a way to copy and past the time re-mapping keyframes from one sequence to another? My little test trying this exact thing didn't work. Maybe I was doing something wrong.
Do these changes affect the whole sequence? Why don't you render out only the frames of the sequence that will change?
If the changes occur in the spots where you paused, you'll have to re-do all the time remapping anyway. Ditto for any changes affect whole sequence.
Should not be a problem at all. If it is, you can always pre-compose your new animation and try to copy&paste or replace it on the timeline (Alt+drag or Ctrl+Alt+> to substitute the layer). This leaves any existing properties and animation intact.
