For standardized video content, Premiere Pro is the appropriate tool. However, Flash video is normally the end result, not the starting point. It may not work very well inside of PP.

I am starting with an mp4 video file.
I am bringing it in AME and reduce the bit rate, size, audio and make it a much smaller FLV file
In addition to all of the above I need to cut out the middle sections of the video.

JSS1138 Feb 3, 2012 9:54 PM (in response to nikolaig)Well, you're still probably wanting to use Premiere Pro. It can handle some varieties of MP4, those that are camera standards such as AVCHD and AVC-I, for instance. Give it a go and see what happens.
