Rik Ramsay Feb 7, 2012 6:33 PM (in response to Heirloom Bob)Hi Bob,
You will need to style your links in InDesign. You can do this relatively quickly by creating a character style which is blue with underline and then running a GREP find and replace to find all web links. See http://indesignsecrets.com/forum/general-indesign-topics/shortest-grep-pattern-to-address- urls-and-e-mail-addresses for some help. You can set the replace to your new character style.

Heirloom Bob Feb 8, 2012 12:51 PM (in response to Rik Ramsay)So this is the easiest way to create a simple blue underlined hyperlink within my InDesign document to link to an email address or URL?

Rik Ramsay Feb 8, 2012 12:54 PM (in response to Heirloom Bob)This will just style it. As per Acrobat, you will need to apply the links to the URL individually, however you can set up link destinations (URL) in InDesign which you can then use more than once.

Character Styles are the way to go.
This might give you some clarification...
