@Praveen – see the following Scripts by Peter Kahrel. They can assist you to check for hyphens:
There is a third one (listHyphenedWords.jsx) by Martin Fischer, but you can only access it, if you donate to its host forum, HilfDirSelbst, and become "Premium Member":
And a pair of scripts by Stephan Möbius to find hyphenated words (simplified versions of the script by Martin Fischer):
Hope, that helps…
At the hyphens_collect URL Uwe mentions, Peter Kahrel refers to this as a further development of an interactive solution he collaborated on with Teus de Jong called hyphenchecker. I'm sure I'll try Peter's improved version one of these days, but I found hyphenchecker's interactivity very useful for letting me see how fixing a hyphen affects the rest of the paragraph. Unfortunately, I used it for just one job before moving to IDCS4 and 64-bit Vista, where I couldn't get it to work, despite Mr. de Jong's assistance. I've missed missed it ever since. My IDCS4 version can run the JSX version, gethyphens.jsx, but it isn't as fast and at least on my system does not change focus smoothly with ID's main window.
