I have a video source provided by a vendor that has the following attributes:
1884 pixels wide
924 pixels high
15 frames per second
pixel aspect ratio 1.0
This video is the product of a computer-based rendering of 3D point data (i.e.surveying), so is not true video in that sense.
My question is -- how do I set up a project to edit this without losing quality in a final product. The final product would be used in a presentation via laptop and projector at a technical conference.
Essentially I just need to extract some clips from the source video and combine them with other source video.
New user to Premiere Elements, so assume nothing.
Unfortunately, there's no way to work with video with those dimensions in Premiere Elements, Jay. To do that, you'll need to upgrade to Premiere Pro. Sorry.
Welcome to the forum.
As Steve says, PrPro can handle that "footage." Also, if you had to mix things, say full HD Video, with it, CS 5.5, with full MEP and CUDA hardware, can make handling the mixture pretty simple.
In PrPro, you would choose a Custom Sequence Preset, that matches your source footage.
