Flash Player not working in any browser

Hello,

For about a week or so, I have a problem with Flash Player not working in few websites, but in all my browsers: Chrome, Firefox (9+10), Opera (all are the latest versions). And it looks like this:

ImageShack.us

The visual size of the screen capture, is the real size of the flash player when it worked; now it looks like it has the loading bar put in the middle, and the loading section is with red like the video is full loaded but it is not - it always shows like that without any changes.

I haven't made any changes, but one day it started to show me that.

I tried with hardware acceleration for the video card (it is default)  and without, but no changes occurred.

I use:

Windows XP SP2 x32

ATI Radeon HD 4650

Flash Player version 11,1,102,55 installed

I hope you can help me find out what is the matter in this situation.

Thank you in advanced for your time and considerations.

Can you please upload screenshot directly here in the forum (using the camera icon);

What is the driver version & date of your Radeon card?

Could you also try resetting your hosts file to see if that helps?

How can I reset the hosts file back to the default?

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks Chris Campbell.

I compared my hosts file with the one from the microsoft site, and they were identical.

The state of the problem is still the same, I have the above "player" showed instead of the real and functional player.

PS: Sorry I could not give you guys a faster reply; I'll be watching your answers closer.

Thanks Pat Willener.

I did not see the camera icon. There is the image with the visual result of the problem:

My drivers are the latest taked from the original site: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2942#ov

My MOBO drivers are also the latest taken from the original site as well.

So ... nobody knows what is with this error? I know it is not from that websites, because I know, if they have an error on their websites it won't last for weeks.

Anyway, thank you for your answers

What URLs are you seeing this on?  Do you have problems watching videos from YouTube?

If you haven't already, you might want to clear your Flash Player cache.
