An issue came up when I pasted some vector graphics directly from Illustrator into Indesign. I suddenly wasn't able to save the document, allthough it had been saved before. (I don't know for sure if this is the real issue, but that's what I changed before the problem appeared).
When I tried to save, InDesign crashed, and here is the crash log: http://pastebin.com/u98xPbHD
When InDesign starts up again, I get the "recovery" window where it asks me if I want to recover. If I choose yes, it will recover, but I still isn't able to save the document without InDesign crashing.
Hardware / software:
MacBook Pro 15" mid-2010
Mac OS X 10.7.3
Adobe Indesign 7.0.4
I will really appriciate your help. Thanks!
edit: Oh, and by the way, when I tried to turn off preflight, it didn't help.
Did you try deleting ID preference?
Looks like it has something to do with the XMP metadata in your pasted vector graphics, possibly relating to swatches. Try messing iwth that, or adopt a Save/Place workflow instead?
