You have to remember that ADE is designed for etext in the format that is
compatible with digital rights and the Digital Millenium Copyright Act of
2000, which established the .epub format. You'll need to check the specs
of your speech software to see how it works with that format.
I paid over $60 for this e-book. I should have PAID for the RIGHT to hear it speak itself to me. What is wrong with that?
Someone get a staffer here to rectify the issue. Thanks a-plenty.
Frankly speaking, the thing that's wrong is your assumption that the
technology will do what you think it should do. Ain't true.
You should start at the beginning. The technology you're using is designed
to manage ebooks that are in certain formats. Check the HELP section of
Digital Editions to find out what they are. Then, look at the 'speech'
technology and find out what it can do. Once you have that information,
then determine whether or not the two are compatible.
Do not assume that your point of view should be adopted by Adobe.
